Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT)

PAUT is an advanced NDT method using multiple ultrasonic elements and electronic time delays to create high-resolution images of internal structures.

Applications: Detect weld defects, corrosion, cracks, and volumetric flaws in metals and composites. Widely used in Oil & Gas, Power, Aerospace, and Manufacturing industries.

Procedure:

• Surface preparation and coupling of probe to the component
• Scanning with phased array probe
• Electronic focusing and beam steering to detect flaws
• Data acquisition and real-time imaging
• Analysis and reporting according to standards (ASME, ISO, API)

We use equipment from GE, Olympus, and Modsonic to provide precise inspections and detailed reports.
