Remote Visual Inspection (RVI)

Remote Visual Inspection (RVI), also known as Borescope or Videoscope inspection, is an advanced NDT method for inspecting internal areas of components that are otherwise inaccessible.

Applications: RVI is used to inspect engines, turbines, piping systems, boilers, and other critical equipment without disassembly.

Procedure:

• Positioning the RVI probe or videoscope into the area to be inspected
• Real-time visualization of internal surfaces
• Recording and analyzing defects such as cracks, corrosion, deposits, or erosion
• Documenting findings and providing a detailed inspection report
