Visual Testing (VT)

Visual Testing (VT) is the most widely used non-destructive testing (NDT) method, involving direct or indirect visual examination of materials, welds, and components. It is a cost-effective and fundamental inspection technique for detecting surface flaws, dimensional inaccuracies, and general condition of components.

Applications of Visual Testing:

• Welding Inspection: Identifying surface cracks, porosity, undercuts, overlaps, and other discontinuities
• Component Inspection: Examining castings, forgings, and machined parts for defects, wear, and deterioration
